Were you aware you can actually short in an IRA? Actual shorts..... Futures and even single stock futures. You can also buy or short currency futures or gold futures. Somehow IB lets you do all that. Damn I wish I could have got gold futures back in January and then again in march. I was wavering several days ago but made the mistake of wanting one more day down. You can not short individual stocks (except thru single stock futures but many of your favorites might be there). PS.. Glad I bought my WHT back and thanks to whoever got me into Harmony $1 ago. I decided to buy GFI at the same time. Good lord was that none other than Tippet? M
