We are talking about the difference between a fetus and human being.

There is disagreement as to when life actually begins. I think it begins to take form at about the first trimester. The fetus in the early weeks of pregnancy is the size of the thumbnail and has not developed advanced functioning, not even the ability to feel pain.

I can understand someone making the decision to have an early term abortion. It's not for everyone.
