"Or in other words your saying that ideas are understood in subjective ways"

Partly that, but as well that they are conceived by people in subjective ways. If all humans were dead there would be no more ideas--not unless some other creature yet lived--capable of thought and reflection.

The ability of people to conceive ideas generally goes hand in hand with growth of the brain and accumulation of experience. A developmental psychologist could properly explain this progression from birth to adulthood.

So when we call certain ideas "objective" we are referring to the fact that they meet certain tests of logic and agreement as valid descriptors of reality outside of human distortion.

Some people take some ideas to a different level and call them Absolute. This refers to the assumption that that idea (and perhaps ALL ideas) are conceived in some otherwordly realm. Objective ideas and Absolute ideas may have no apparent disagreement other than that Absolute ideas are imagined by people in order to justify their faith in a supernatural world, and that objective ideas allow for the exception to their universality. For instance, one could objectively say that cooperation is USUALLY the best way for people to meet their goals; but an Absolutist might say that such and such is ALWAYS such and such.

People who believe in objective ideas can work together to correct misperceptions and to improve understanding of reality. People who insist on Absolute ideas have no method other than conversion and war to persuade others of their special knowledge.
