FWIW, among the major producers I checked (3), Silver Standard was the only one to break out beyond the increase in the POS today. The few silver explorers I follow did not even match the increase in POS. Just my lame opinion, but I get the sense the market for silver shares was not too impressed with the dramatic move in bullion today, particularly among the exploration stocks. If todays advance in bullion is not wiped out over night in Asia & Europe, tomorrow might tell another tale. We shall know soon enough, eh?

But Elizabeth I'm out now, sick of being hyped I unplugged my phone so as not to be bothered by a self appointed CDU promo maniac, who is not endorsed by the company. But Elizabeth, the volume was 1,300,000 Wednesday ( 800,000 cross incl ). My gut feeling on this ( and my gut is bleeding from this one ) is that it may not exactly be a short here but on the other hand it looks pretty grim and there are suspicious things happening on the perimeters. I would have expected Henk to announce a resumption of the program & put out a news release or something ? If he doesn't start to take some happy steps in the next few days then I would agree that insiders are getting out. Time is running out for as comment from mgmt. re the 2nd round and what it means. I should have listened to one poster who said they have a history of a lot of talk and little actual work.
