That's a good point. There is a lot of wafer inspection equipment, for example, that is designed to work with any size wafer from four inch to eight inch merely by changing the chuck.

Anyone have any opinion on the automation guys right now(ie. BRKS, ASYT)? They are trading around 1-2X sales while much of the rest of the sector trades at 5 or 6 times sales. If spending on 300mm fabs takes place later this year and into '04, automation equipment will be necessary for any new fab built, as a % much moreso than previously. And once this starts in earnest, these should see much of that capex money.....what am I missing in that these do not seem to be pointing to a recovery? They have had a nice move recently, but are still valued well below the rest of the sector, at least on a PSR basis.
