By refusing to answer that question, he certainly leaves the impression that he likely did not file a timely Schedule D. I have given him every opportunity to state that he did. What other conclusion can we reach than that he did not?

How could anybody think they could get away with that and then blame it on somebody else?

Based on his own postings here - my only knowledge of the Count - I am left thinking he must be an opportunist mining deep pockets.

It all comes down to personal responsibility - something that has probably never been required of him. "Wah wah wazh, they didn't send me a 1099. Wah wah waah, I didn't know I had to file. Wah wah waah, I lost $10M on their advice."
