Kerry is NOT well-known nationally yet. Why would you say that? He wont be really well known until AFTER he wins the nomination. Dean has placed himself AGAINST the war and for doing away with ALL of Bush's tax cuts. That is a leftist position which will not sell in 2004. Kerry is for only resceinding the very top income level of Bush's tax cuts plus the estate tax cuts (with immunity for small farmers and businessmen) and supported the war but disagreed with the WAY Bush went to war. Kerry's positions will be very popular with the majority. Dean's wont.
