presque isle We have a few of those ;o) In New Brunswick you have English towns and French Towns still and the delineation of French and English is still quite pronounced as to what areas they live in. In the English areas you could just as well be in Maine.. Whereas in the French areas it's just like Eastern Quebec in my experience. Nice province. Number two on my list of Canadian retirement destinations..

We've spent quite a bit of vacation time there and we're the type that like to poke around and meet the locals.. Having a passable French helps..
