Ted, You seem unwilling to endorse or accept the human traits normally associated with conservatism. You're too funny, Ted. Next, you'll be suggesting a 12-step program for conservatives like me. Why? Do you snort heroin? <g> Open your mind to the oh-so-remote possibility that conservatives are normal human beings who don't necessarily suffer from "fear and aggression," or "dogmatism and intolerance of ambiguity," etc. Frankly, there is no such thing as a normal human being. Having said that, why do you think conservatives have never met a defense budget that's too big? Why do you think conservatives are such strong supporters of the NRA? My cousin is an MD....he's trained to save lives. He owns 4 guns, belongs to the NRA and is a card carrying conservative. Little congressman billie thomas called the police when those big bad Dems wouldn't play with him and his posse. Come on what do think that's all about......an example of a free thinker.....playing it loose and wild? Sorry, wrong.....that's an example of "dogma and an intolerance of ambiguity" at its finest. Would you find it offensive if I called liberals "devoid of reason," or "mistrustful of the human spirit," etc.? No, but I don't think those traits are considered the achilles heels of liberals. ted
