<<It's not the least "appalling" to blame Saddam for the WTC>>

Wow.....so it's fine to blame him for something he didn't do. Must be fine for the Germans to blame us then!

This is starting to get ridiculous.....I'll give you the last word....

Appalling? I would say "ridiculous" or "absrud" come closer to the mark.

<<small potatoes>>
or
brutal suppression of Iraq

Do you think that Saddam did things which made the the September 11th tragedy, in your words <<small potatoes>> ? Do you think Saddam did these things before or after the September 11 tragedy ?
Is your assertion that others should view the September 11th attacks as <<small potatoes>> when compared to <<any number of things>> things that Saddam did ?

I always thought Emile had his approach backwards. His strong pro-Palestinian rhetoric often caused pro-Israeli comments and discussion, to cause people to argue for the Palestinians he should have taken an pro-Israeli stance, a very extreme one would force others to argue the Palestinian cause.
