I asked you to post a link that supports the claim of declining murder rates since 1976 in a macro country wide fashion.

I have seen stats that indicate the murder rate is closely tied to the economic well being of the country. Wish I had the link handy for you. I might be able to find it again, and I'll post it when I do.
