I'm asking you how you can call something specious on the one hand and then say it may be right just not in your opinion on the other.

Don't you think those two positions contradict?

Can i assume in the future that if you call an argument specious (or something similar) that what you really mean is it's a valid argument that could be true, but personally you don't happen to think so?
