I appreciate what you're saying. I was thinking more of a general description. Things like trend-following/countertrend, breakout/range, volatility expansion, etc. It's easy to speak in generalities without giving away the store. For example, I can tell you that my primary long term system is a single parameter, three rule trend following system that uses weekly moving averages. Volatility is incorporated into the position sizing algorithm. Average annual return since 1990 is 30% with a maximum drawdown under 10% trading 47 futures markets ($50/rt deducted). Even though you now have a pretty good understanding of what I've done, I've still not given away any secrets. <font face=wingdings>e</font>
