I get email from people that I know who follow some of the postings here. They would like to join in, but the abusive trolls scare them off. I'd like to see a wider, more diverse, set of people here. In addition, the abusive posts usually trigger a back-and-forth that clogs the board. I don't think many people wade through all the BS to find the good stuff, and that also prevents good interaction. I'd rather see the people with axes to grind go to Yahoo, and rant with their brethren.
