Laughing? I don't think that statement included too much laughter, except the "Psycho" kind. If you want to align yourself with that kind of thing, I can't stop you. I've had my concerns about your posting before, but as far as I can recall going back two years you never resorted to this. If you want to defend it, OK. If you think that's appropriate, OK. If you have respect for someone who talks that way in public, OK.
What this does do, though, Jorj, is toss your credibility right into the river. If you really think that's perfectly fine, because really my posting strong arguments and evidence - like I did today, so many asked for some, well I provided it, didn't I? - is enough to drive any bona-fide, hard-working, brokerage firm, boiler-room-operating criminal just trying to make an honest living ripping off every sucker in sight right round the bend, then what can I say?
I'm pleased to see that a single day after he said I was losing it, now he has. It will be a hard blow I understand when these criminals realize that there are some honest people out there maybe just as smart as they are, maybe onto them, maybe never going to back down, maybe going to nail them thoroughly for what they did to so many of us, through the law and the courts. I'm sure they are going nuts, that's why I have been called mental so many times. Because, deep down, that's exactly what they are, delusional, mental, unbalanced megalomaniacs who would be better off in an institution than at the forefront of our cherished markets.
Now I have heard stories about Chris Rea. I am sure he will go nuts in Court on the slightest pretext. When he does, I can imagine Schwab counsel, representing co-defendants, will blanch, and wonder why he let this go so far. Maybe he does not realize this yet, though I have warned some of the defendants of what's coming, given them the chance to do the right thing now, there are many defendants who are unstable. They don't really care about the money or smart business. No, not really at all - they care about screwing the world as they believe the world previously screwed them. The world owes them and they have every right to take what is rightfully theirs, in any way they see fit, innocent victims you all are rats and go straight to where you belong, you had money and I did not! You were born into privilege so I have the right to steal from you! I don'r care if I was indiscriminate and didn't only steal from the wealthy, I have the damned right!
You take a look at what Philip Berber said about redistribution of wealth, that he really believes God gave him the idea to rip everyone off and then play games with charities, call them all criminals too. It takes a severely twisted mind - and Berber said this on national television, CNBC and FoxNews.
After NYT Rea sent a long letter talking about his tough background in Scotland, as if that excuses hurting people. It's the same thing. (Yeah, that's right Merlin, I have a copy of that letter still, so do lots of people.)
That's Chris Rea and Philip Berber, Gerald Putnam and some others. I know because in fact I have been talking to former employees of the defendants - whether the defendants believe it or not, and you better believe I am not about to tell you who these brave souls are - but all of them have stated to me that in person these people are borderline psycho-sociopaths. At some point, I do intend to bring in a mental health professional to assess this sickening evolution of the leadership of trading.
I said it before and I'll say it again: I prepared for a long time. I'm ready. This discussion just strengthens and polishes what I already have strengthened and polished for three years and 6,500 hours, nearly $250,000 invested. There are many, many issues we have not discussed here that will be raised in support of these claims. I've discussed some, but not all. And that's how it should be. |
