Excerpt about Bush and God...........last paragraph:

truthout.org

"An old Roman maxim states, “Let justice be done though the heavens fall.” There is no justice in all this, and the heavens are falling. We are told that Bush speaks to God, that his armchair-to-armchair relationship with the Almighty gives him the direction both he and the nation needs. God better get on the ball here and give George some better directions. "

Mephisto,

Re: The danger arose when the missiles exploded and the uranium particles were scattered throughout the
environment.

That's true, but there is a danger that is even more insidious than that. I've recently learned that one of the characteristics of DU munitions is that they burn as they travel as projectiles. The uranium oxide is thus spread to the environment as sub-microscopic particles. Perfect for thousands of years of devastation to human pulmonary systems in local dust storms, agricultural plowing, road dust, etc. It's the munition that keeps on giving.
