MSI,

I try to keep an ear on the pulse of Amerika by tuning in to C-SPAN's Washington Journal, SI, the Thom Hartmann Show
thomhartmann.com
and a few other places where the public can let loose with comment. The overwhelming impression I get is that no one knows nuttin'. The American public is shockingly one of the most ill-informed populations in the OECD world. You would have to travel down to the second tier, say, Indonesia or Kenya for a comparably ill-informed and superstitious population. The stupidity of the American public isn't tolerated in any other so-called "First World" nation. We are being set up for a fall. A big one. Kahuna lunacy time.

This adminstration is definitely trying to use propaganda to the max. I've never seen such a blatant effort at propaganda. And, I thought Reagan was bad in that respect. I have no doubt that Bush's handlers have studied all the propaganda techniques used since the dawn of man (certainly the NAZI propaganda techniques) and have tried to use them to bamboozle the American people (not a very hard task). The American people have to be some of the stupidiest people on earth. I mean how people could be so facinated with the military that has done nothing but screw them since the 1960s (agent orange, Gulf War illness, etc.), is beyong me?!?
