Sure. Until/unless the Dow falls off the shelf it's been on for weeks, just under the big test (that chart I've posted a couple of times), it still looks OK for up. It is certainly not broken technically in any timeframe I look at.

Could the Dow (a) go down for a few days (b) and then go up after that, seems to be what you're saying.

Allan's answer addresses the (b) part of your question and Keller's read on the 60-minute chart might address the (a) part of your question, where he implies a move to 8870 on its way to 8400.
