I've seen this opinion published before....sorry, can't remember off hand where, maybe in some communist literature <gg>.......but it only appeals to the A.N.S.W.E.R crowd. He alienates everyone else in America with that kind of rhetoric.

the speech was built around a tired cliche -- the importance of freedom (how people yearn for it, how other cherished values depend on it, how it will triumph, and so on).

Ya gotta love the first amendment.
