Re: USD. Odd that ino.com and stockcharts.com have such different views of the 200 dma.

stockcharts.com[h,a]daclyiay[dc][pb50!b200!c200!c50!c13!c21!f][vc60][iub14!la8,17,9!ll14][J11192336,Y]&pref=G

I'm more inclined to used stockcharts vs ino for the moving averages FWIW.

Roe - stange things happen with the charts.
The moving average of fame on the Dollar index is the 100 DMA.
Switch to 1 year chart quotes.ino.com

That 100 DMA is important as it is almost coincidental with an error channel from Oct last year
last weekend's chart lvlamb.itgo.com
thick yelow 100 DMA, thick green 50 DMA
magenta axis lines error channel

Since october there was a one-way trade: sell at the top of the channel, buy at the bottom.

Around 94.67 (Sep futes) we have a gap, the 50 DMA, a neckline of a bullish male/female reversal (of which the target was met on the 100 DMA).

Waz next: take your better tossing coin. <g/ng>

Hi Roebear. Good to see you back & good TA points on the $$

I'd add that there's a very big fundamental flow of funds issue that has entered the mix in just the last few weeks. The big longer term money and longer holding period hedge fund mgrs have decided it's time to position for the election market.

And the quick and dirty of that is - in the context of many other big picture factors we've discussed her for many months - Greenpimp is going to have to debase the currency MORE than in previous presidential election cycles to keep the incumbents in office.

Folks, remember everything in a nation (any nation) is designed to support and protect the established elite - political AWA financial. A statistical study done some years ago showed that the US Congress has a lower rate of turnover than the old Soviet Polit Bureau!!

Yep, <that's a fact Jack>.

And, Y is it so?

Well, to trot an ole Iso fav rant<g>, those incumbents are worth a lot of money to the special interests that pay for their campaigns (AWA other things:o)).

How do you think all these crazy special interest serving pork barrel laws get passed people?! That's right. Gotta keep your shills in congress, so you can milk the average American as much as possible.

A lot of people get angry about stuff like this. Me? Just try to be real about it. Know it's the way it is and there ain' no revolution coming along gonna change it. So you just cooly go about your biz understanding that it's...

THE WAY IT IS (Bruce Hornsby CD of same name JUST came on the Iso mega sound system. Yeah Baby! Synchronicity rules!!)

All the best,

Isopatch

USS Golden Fish:

Be prepared for evasive action from ultra large underwater golden lava flows, or undercurrents resulting from failed 5th waves, or you might have to prematurely hit the chicken switch.

Result of chicken switch:

Failed 5ths discussed here:

Message 18811879

Stay deep is my advice, listen for pings. Blow a little main ballast as required, as tubes get slowly flooded with golden lava (may be some silver in there too).

U599 over and out! (A relic from the past!)

(LMAO!)
