you can put 200,000 into my specific importing area, there's already more than that here

it's not surprising that the importing industry is growing. after all, some people are needed to bring in all the stuff which is made by the ROW. however, every importing job created displaces many times more manufacturing jobs in this country. as a result, we have lost millions of manufacturing jobs in the past several years. importing is not a flagship industry around which a large economy like the US can be based. manufacturing was such an industry, but now it is going away forever, and the strength at importing cos is just an indication of how bad the situation is. kind of like the way a mortician's business might pick up due to a plague. the mortician may think it's great, but not everybody else does. along those lines, i continue to think that there's a bull market in the bankruptcy law profession. maybe those of use who don't live close to a Starbucks or Walmart can become bankruptcy lawyers or importers.
