I am proud of how our troops have performed. Am I proud of how Bush has performed? Not really. Either he or some people in his administration lied, distorted, or plain mishandled the WMD and Al Qaeda 'imminent threat', and now are doing a merry but sad dance around it. Who will not be sitting when the music stops? I heard today the rumor of Rice, but I think at some point Powell is gonna jump ship to rescue what is left of his reputation. He's the only voice of moderation in an administration filled with arrogant and hawkish sentiment that is driving a wedge between us and the rest of the world.
