Well, I think the first two are open to intepretation. On the 9/11 attacks, I believe what Rice is saying is that no one envisioned them using the planes themselves as weapons, although we may have suspected that they would try a 'traditional' hijacking. Of course, never say 'no one' unless you've individually talked to every single person yourself. :0

On the second point, the quote does not appear to say that the decision to go to war was made in June 02, but simply the decision to make it a priority; "to put Iraq front and center at this point". That in itself cannot be taken as a decision to go to war, simply a decision to make it the focus of our one-focus President.

On the rest, I think she lied and or made it up as she went along, for which she should out herself. Of course, at this point, Bush probably won't let her. I wonder when administrations will learn that when things go kablooey, you quickly find out the truth, splatter it on the news, roll the necessary heads, and move on. These things just feed upon themselves, and more and more people lie, and pretty soon credibility is down the drain (unless you're covered in teflon).
