I completely agree ... something is totally out of whack. I currently live in one of the hottest real estate markets in the country (Miami Beach) and I am renting my waterfront unit on the 29th floor for at least $700 a month less then what it would cost me to own the unit ... and yes, it's for sale. Yet, they are still building high-rises left and right and asking $500K and up per unit. I know this has got to end very badly ... it feels just like the Nasdaq early 2000.
