OT Too many open questions Not a problem. There will be answers. They will come in due course. The market adequately compensates speculators for assuming such risk. The transition of head mfg - even if WDC retains skilled RDRT personnel - COULD have problems. What is the problem with transition to 80 GB product? Was there any hint that the transition was proving much more difficult or costly than RDRT anticipated? Any reason to believe that WDC can't pull it off with their bigger pocketbook? analysts see NO earnings increase from '03 to '04. That's not too surprising in light of the acquisition not being immediately accretive. Good heavens, I thought Germans were supposed to take a longer term view. <g> Sam
