<Teopfer, Executive Director of United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) on July 21 in Nairobi. China is active in finding out ways for sustainable development not only in principle but also in practice, he pointed out, so it is very unfair to restrict China's development. On the issue of the sustainable development of the world, the developed countries should do more about it. >

Okay, the first thing to do is fire him - he can get a real job and stop wasting the world's resources and stop spouting hot air. Anyone using the words "sustainable development" is full of it [unless proven otherwise].

For his information, we, the developed countries are doing a LOT about improving the lot of everyone. For a start, there's that amazing technology, CDMA2000 phragmented photon cyberphones. Then, there's superconductor supported and propelled electronically controlled individual cars [under development]. And a lot more besides.

We are also going to revamp the UN and get it to focus on what's actually needed instead of being an unsustainable bureaucratic nightmare padding their salaries and polluting the media with their unsustainable ideas.
