It just gets tossed from scapegoat to scapegoat, a Hot Potato nobody wants, till the Attention-Deficit-Disordered public loses interest, or gets distracted by the next manufactured crisis. No, in the Age Of Lies, the public doesn't mind if leaders show their Resolve and Firmness, by bending the truth till it breaks, to GetThingsDone. That's just Leadership.
