"Televised images of the bodies of Saddam Hussein’s sons shocked many Arabs, who said Friday that it was un-Islamic to exhibit corpses, however much the brothers were loathed." Unless, of course, they're American troops being dragged through the streets of Mogadishu or thrown into heaps in Iraq. It was meant to show that they were really dead, but I think they will need some neutral Iraq or Arab authority to examine the bodies and identify them. Muslims just do not trust the US at this point.
