You say it was for political gain. Well when it occurred I do believe the dems had no case or chance of winning. I believe it was done by an very mis-guided concern for national security or it may have been a dirty trick. But lying under oath and disgracing the Presidency by having one's penis sucked while a President speaks to a member of congress is a clear demonstration of a reckless unfitness to hold the office. Clearly if a simple minded flaky intern could get the DNA on the guy then a foreign country could also.
