OT RtS, I think an analysis of the merits of the Readrite acquisition by WDC is probably more suitable on the WDC thread than here. It should not be much more difficult for you to check that thread if you are interested. There are probably far more people on this thread who don't really want to see the clutter of all these OT posts about WDC. But that's just my guess. I'm really hoping to coax some of the old timers of the WDC thread out of hibernation, figuring they may have some valuable insight and perspective to share with this newbie (me). Sam
