Want some real wood? Pull up the monthly charts on the XAU, AU, NEM and some other assorted golds since 1990 or so...those things are in HUGE breakouts (or coiling to breakout). HMY for example is in an enormous cup and handle, currently with the pivot at the March, 2000 highs. When/if that goes, it could easily move to 35-40 and above. The XAU itself is in an enormous inverse H&S that measures to 180! I'm seriously considering cutting shorts in half or so, and concentrating on golds/PM's. If we break SPX 1015, I'll do it for sure...
