A German scholar contends that the Islamic text has been mistranscribed and promises raisins, not virgins

The Qur'an was transcribed precisely at the time of the prophet Muhammad (peace be with him). However the vowel marks were not added until 100 later I think. Hence the necessity for interpretation.
