Mikey,
Message 19149035

I know this is alien to you, but I was voicing my opinion. That doesn't mean that it is "true", it means that it is what I believe will happen. My opinions about what will happen are proven wrong frequently. Most people's views about what will happen are proven wrong frequently. However, at least I do have an opinion that is my own. Now that Carpino is gone, I see that you are struggling to post anything of value since you have never had an opinion of your own. At least not one that you had the balls to state publically. That's the difference between you and me Mikey. I'm willing to put my opinion, right or wrong, out there for the world to see. It can be used as an indicator or a contra-indicator, but at least people know that they are getting my opinion. The best you ever came up with is reposting Carpino's stuff or being a sycophant for whichever guru you were following that day.

BTW: If GZ wants to know what I meant, he is more than welcome to ask. I thought it was pretty clear though. I simply do not believe that there will be a sustained rally on the capture or death of Saddam Hussein. I did say that I wouldn't be surprised by a rally, but that it would be an exhaustion rally. As far as what caused yesterday's rally.....I don't think it was any specific news...regardless of what any financial publication might say. Do you think that the better unemployment numbers on Thursday caused the rally to fail? I don't. I think that there is a finite amount of money that wants to get into the market at any given time. And when that runs out, rallies fail, regardless of the news. So if you or GZ don't understand my opinion...oh well.
