I thought that was a rather nice piece of writing. I have a very high standard for those things that are anti- American. Merely having ideas that I (or other people) consider nasty, really isn't enough. Those ideas need to be fundamentally aimed at aiding a foreign power, or directly destroying America (not "destroying" it by making it less like the America someone else might want). I think people totally confuse anti-American with what is "anti-American" to their idea of America. One's personal idea of what America should be, or one's affiliation with a group that has an idea of what America should be, does not and should not set the standard for what is pro-American and what is anti-American. That is a much too limited and too pathetic a view of America, imo.
