I could post innumerable posts from all over SI (mostly the Bush thread, and some of your recent posts there and elsewhere) and the internet which I find totally offensive and extreme- but I was limiting the matter to this thread, which is supposed to have a cetain standard of decorum. In the interest of good taste and sanity I won't post any of the things that disgust me in the wider world of SI, because even though we could go tit for tat, it isn't On Topic here. Clearly you totally didn't understand that I was posting about this thread, even though I tried to be explicit about it. Now I am trying to be more explicit about it.

This is so typical of the usual straw man garbage the local "logical" conservatives can't resist. Who is conceptualguerilla.com ? And who cares? If I had the stomach to root around the net looking for offensive conservative pronouncements, I'm sure I could dig up more than a few. But what would that prove? I had the dubious pleasure of listening to a couple hours of Limbaugh the other day; this kind of "argument" seems to be his main line of "reasoning". Some people eat that stuff up, it seems. Ratings would seem to indicate millions more eat up the Limbaugh straw man garbage recycling than would ever find the stuff Limbaugh calls "liberal" on their own. I think this demonstrates the logical impairment of the dittoheads much more clearly than it demonstrates anything wrong with "liberals", but that's just me.
