the notion of a big selloff heading into fall appears unlikely, at least according to this indicator Thanks, bc. Low % short specialists, high % short public. That's a strong argument for the bullish case. I guess it might be important to watch out for a rapid reversal in this ratio. If the tired bears begin to cover aggressively on any strength - or, because of having lost confidence, on any weakness - we may have a hound in the making. But, speculations aside, taken per se this is indeed a bullish argument.
