MEanwhile I bought another position in the land of the rising sun : 6972.J (ELNA) - www.elna.co.jp - 260 Yen, Price/Sales - 0,15, PE 8.5 This is one of the most renowned maker of capacitors - Elna Ltd. They are also producing PCB's and related services. Elna pays a dividend, has an expected EPS of 30 Yen for current year (FY2003). EPS for FY2004 are expected to be north of 40 Yen.. They are well known for their excellent quality products. If you are into high-fidelity audio you surely should know them. Did you ever open a high-end sound equipment box ? You will find many of their top-notch capacitor products in highest performing audio gear for example.. Elna capacitors and their tight tolerances are legacy. Now if consumer electronic equipment can sustain it's current boom, Elna should be a major beneficiary..
