Leaves out Lenin, Stalin and Trotsky as well. No, I'm afraid a classification scheme that obfuscates, rather than clarifies, is pointless. Just as all of the above (and Mao) had their own variant of communism, so Hitler, Mussolini and Franco had differing variations of fascism. The odd blend of fascism and Catholicism in Franco's Flange was unlike anything else. I've mentioned these six, from the first half of the 20th century, because they are usually considered the archetypes.
