We are all moderates in our own minds. I'm sure Hitler, Stalin, and Mao thought they were too. Excellent insight. It is why we have to be ever vigilent that extremism, no matter what the flavor, never takes hold. Can you imagine a goverment run by individuals who see a minority behind every plot? Can you imagine a government run by individuals who get their instructions directly from their perception of a deity? This is what some of the SI extreme posters seem to desire.
