Yesterday, I had just enough time to read Cheney's speech, which I found lacking in substance for reasons I wrote. Then I left. I believe the president of this great country should be held to a high standard, that he should choose his words wisely, and if he errs, he should admit it. Bush has been caught in a web of deceit and the fallout from that hurts us all. He should honor his oath of office and do what is best for this country. IMO, the best interests of the US aren't even on Bush's short list.

If you could lift the veil of your own prejudice you would want answers. Which is why I continue to read and wait to learn the truth of why Bush used "forged, phony, fabricated" info in his SOTU to take us to war that jeopardizes this country and our military. He won't answer a straight question nor will his press secretaries. As Americans, we used to have the right to know, which the Bush admin has taken from us. I'm hoping this nation can survive these people. Between Bush and Cheney, the president seems like a nice, befuddled guy. Cheney's an arrogant snake. As far as deceitfulness goes, Clinton was a piker compared to Cheney. IMO.
