That's good (not for Tony, hope he stays safe). But, I think we also need the troops. It will allow Bush to sidestep the silliness about the predictions of how many troops it will take (Rumsfeld should have said 'as many as it will take' rather than get into a spat with the former generals). It will allow our guys to take over offensive action, which they are better at. It will allow the Iraqis to see a different country's face, rather than just the US (which they distrust).
