Kind of surprising, don't you think?

No.

I'm surprised that "they" didn't threaten the life of the pollsters who presented such results

I am not.

Seventy-four per cent of Jewish settlers living in the West Bank and Gaza Strip would be willing to leave their homes in
return for compensation

Only 74%? Given enough compensation, I expect that something like 95% of the people in the world would be willing to leave their homes and relocate. The fact that 26% of Jewish settlers wouldn't move even if they were paid to, with no stated limit on the amount of compensation, is extremely high.

Or did the pollsters say how much compensation?

Heck, I love my home, but pay me enough and I'll pack tomorrow.
