Nat,

I've written about the NY Times' Judith Miller in the past. She's a scourge. It appears that she was a willing co-conspirator in the anthrax terrorization campaign in the autumn of 2001. She's certainly been utterly dishonest about her role as a mouthpiece for the INC's Ahmed Chalabi.

The Times is an institution that only looks good when you compare it to all the rest. Face facts, would you rather have the New York Times or the Pox New Network as the flagship media property of the nation? <g>

Gore Vidal has interesting, and not very flattering things to say about the NY Times. At first I didn't understand his attitude. But now that I'm becoming more familiar with the paper I'm beginning to see more of the warts that Vidal has pointed out.
