Been involved in many. :-) Let's see. Watergate. That was well done, wasn't it? Teapot dome? Another beaut. Iran/contra? Didn't hold up too well, did it? FDR and Pearl Harbor? Well, if there was a conspiracy, that was a very good one. Still holding well. The problem is you can't prove there ever was anything but bureaucratic screwup. Evidence that the gov'y knew Pearl Harbor was the target is totally lacking. They did suspect war was imminent. And warned the field commanders. JFK assassination? There does appear to have been a conspiracy there and it still hasn't really cracked. That's the one case on your side. But simple logic is your worst enemy here. Let's devices were installed aboard those planes to allow them to be controlled from the ground (Deranged's current favorite theory). What of the techs and engineers involved in installing, testing, and operating that equipment? Not one of them says anything when it becomes apparent what has happened? The US gov't has problems keeping legitimate military secrets secret, ferchrissakes!
