>>>what is the solution ?<<<

My ideal solution would be for the Fed to raise margin requirements substantially and give an irrational exuberance speech explaining the misallocation of capital that lead up to this and is going on again but I know it will never happen.

If AG went up on national TV and explained that liquidity was used as a tool to avert the Asian crisis, LTCM, Russian problem etc ut that most of it went to tech stocks instead creating an atmosphere that was not normal it could create a shock to take the market down yet allow for increased liquidity to flow to help debt and rates.

Politically as you say though, he would be finished. Someone in authority needs to explain the Joe Six pack that 1994 to 2000 was not normal and someone is going to have to pay for their bubble sooner or later. Even after the last 3 years, they still don't get it.

Good Luck,

Lee
