How about, once upon a time, having a conversation without you trying to leverage your military stuff into it. Might be more enjoyable.

This is a political thread.

War ain't pretty, but it is politics, and America is at war in Afghanistan, Iraq, Columbia and the Philippines.

If I supported the long-standing, non-action stance of the demos, i'd be pretty embarrassed right now. But I don't. Good men fought to found this country. Good men fought to make it free. Good men are fighting to keep it free. I prefer to support those men and women doing the fighting.

The US military is involved in every significant part of our political fabric right now except teacher pay raises.
Get used to it. Learn to enjoy the military. American military veterans are a pretty good bunch of decent folks. Their on-going and past efforts certainly have a place in a political forum.
