Haven't a clue what could be up for 3 weeks out to open that position. I saw no significant trades at higher strikes establishing a spread.

Must just be pure speculation that the stock is going higher and the $11 strike ($8 price) had no time premium, so in theory why buy the stock when the option would do the same using less capital.

Or Maybe an offsetting spread will appear next week. If the stock nears $20?

Pure pile in speculation is my guess.

Jan, I see open interest of 25 and volume of 1661 pcquote.com

That looks like the sale of 1661 was to close the options because only 25 were left after?
