Re "means and ends" "Ends justifying the means" has historically been used by leftist (since you seem disturbed by the word communist) dictatorships. Believing that the means determines the ends, I never saw any justification for a totalitarian "interlude". not as interested in creating a beautiful example of Iraq The point of your post, was to me, obscure. An analysis of the current situation in Middle East has led many to believe some significant US involvement is required - or expect more "9-11s". If you disagree, fine. Clearly state why. If you do agree, but aren't "interested" in the presented scenario, what are your alternatives? Just wondering. lurqer
