Does anyone here think we should have attacked a country that does (or most likely does) have a nuclear capability , with the risk of losing entire cities or armies in seconds?

Wow...such binary thinking. Ever hear of the cold war? We won that one without nukeing a single Soviet city or taking a nuclear hit on our cities? Why do you think that NK is a more intractable problem then the USSR in the fifties, sixties and seventies? How did we manage to win?
