Oh, right. All that garbage about "hatred" was something else entirely. And the locally popular line about criticism of W and his policies "harming America" is just a figment of my imagination.

I've seen that claim made a lot, but I read this thread nearly every day and I haven't seen anyone here call another poster a traitor or anti-American. Oh, it's been done but I don't, just offhand, recall one of the long term thread regulars doing it. Some hinting but no actual accusations. What has happened is to imply/say that about left criticisms of the Bush administration. It was particularly rampant during the street protests against the oncoming invasion last fall and winter. We were treated to a regular round of such attacks.
